With over two decades of clinical experience and training in several therapeutic modalities, I bring a thoughtful, integrative approach to our work together.

Whole person, not just symptom-focused
My background as an Occupational Therapist means I don’t only look at your thoughts or feelings in isolation - I look at how your body, your stress levels, your relationships, and the roles you are carrying all interact with each other in your daily life. Therapy works best when we address the whole picture together, rather than only one piece of it.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)
We all carry different “parts” of ourselves - the part that is angry, the part that is exhausted, the part that is trying to hold it all together. And beneath all of these parts, is a wounded part that we ultimately try to protect. IFS helps us get curious about all of these parts and instead of trying to get rid of them, allows us meet them with compassion rather than judgment. The ultimate goal is to make space for all of your parts and build a more integrated relationship with yourself.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Rather than fighting against difficult thoughts and feelings, ACT helps you build a different relationship with them - one where you can hold discomfort without being ruled by it, and take meaningful action in your life even when things feel hard.

Compassionate, direct, and without judgment
You will get warmth, empathy, and acceptance during our sessions - a space where you don’t have to hold it all together.

Collaborative
You know your life best. My role is to bring clinical training, structure, and reflection to help you find your own way through, with ongoing encouragement and support from me throughout the entire therapeutic process.
